Case 1

IMA materials (including graphs, charts and tables) protected by copyright may be reproduced free of charge in any format or medium for research and private study.  This is subject to the material being reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading context.  You must identify the source (give the title of the document from which the item is taken) and state that it is IMA copyright.

Case 2

In order to simplify the process and reduce unnecessary administration and delay for re-users of IMA copyright material, extracts of up to 300 words (including graphs, charts and tables) may be re-used without the need to apply for a licence.  This is subject to the material being reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading context.  You must identify the source (give title of the document from which the extract is taken) and state that it is IMA copyright. 

Case 3

If you do not fall within Cases 1 or 2, to reproduce IMA copyright material, you must apply to us for a licence by email to copyright@investmentuk.org or by writing to IMA, 65 Kingsway, London WC2B 6TD.  All requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
