Find an Independent Financial Adviser

Getting good financial advice is important if you are thinking about investing.

You should only accept advice from an authorised adviser. This means that the adviser has permission from the industry regulator (Financial Services Authority) to give financial advice to consumers.

Types of Financial Adviser:

  • Independent. They can give you advice on all financial products available in the market.
  • Multi-tied. They only give advice on the financial products of a specified range of companies.
  • Single-tied. They advise only on the financial products of one company.
