National Association of Securities Dealers Automatic Quotation System (NASDAQ)
NASDAQ is the largest electronic stock market in the U.S. Started as an alternative to the New York Stock Exchange, it was the traditional exchange for technology companies, but now houses approximately 3,300 companies and, on average, trades more shares per day than any other U.S. market.

The NYSE is the world's leading and most technologically advanced equities market. It is the oldest, low cost and most efficient stock exchange in the U.S.
